Yeah, and not to my liking! The morons who ruined the front end went out
of business and declared bankruptcy, so any lawsuits to recover money went
out the window. Had to have a new front clip custom built so I could keep
the disc brakes, R&P steering and accommodate the Hemi. That took care of
what finances I had left to finish the car and now it's in my garage. I
work
on it as I get enough money to finish up a project at a time. I did manage
to find that a friend of my son in law knows how to rewire the car. He's
built 4 cars of his own, and his brother is a mechanic who just LOVES the
old 426s so he's willing to come down to Illinois from Wisconsin for a
week
end or two and help finish the car and/or get the Hemi running. I was
supposed to get the garage insulated last fall and he had a torpedo heater
to keep us warm, but I had so much other stuff to do on my "Honey Do" list
that I got behind and it got cold before I could do the insulation. HAVE
to
keep the other half happy or nothing would get done on the car! Makes
things go along a little slower but...!? hehehe =8^0
