like they were saying :
>> Just like the tosser in the car didn't *deliberately* swerve at him -
>> heavens, no, why on earth would he do that? And, of course, he was
>> coming back to apologise when the nasty man threw stones at his car
>> all unprovoked.
> Did you get lost in the sequence of events?
Not at all.
Merely pointing out that Ian's suggested excuse can be worked both ways.
> I did not throw stones the stones at him when he came back.
Do forgive me...
I took "I stepped back and picked up a handful of 3/4inch gravel off a
driveway. ... I guess he wasn't expecting me to whip a handful of gravel
at his car when he did that." to mean that you DID throw stones at him.
> I did step back, getting out of his way and whipping the handful of
> stones at his car.
Thought you said you didn't throw stones?
> Call a cop and see who would go to jail.
<sigh>
Can you point me to anywhere that anybody's called the ****ing idiot in
the
car anything other than a ****ing idiot?
I'm merely trying to point out that there were two ****ing idiots involved
- one who started it all, and one who decided to escalate it by la****ng
out
then lobbing stones, instead of taking the sensible course of action -
shaking your head at the total ****ing stupidity of your fellow mankind,
getting over it, and getting on with your day.
