I am told that my transmission is not ECU controlled, it possible came
from an -87 Monte Carlo.
The kit you mention is a lock-up kit. I have installed the same from
B&M, but this only engages the lockup in my converter above a selected
speed.
The only eletric thing inside my transmission is the 4th gear switch
and lockup solenoid.
