installing roady xt in my '88 cherokee...need power source

by Matt <crackers819903@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Jan 10, 2008 at 07:34 AM

rather than using the lighter adapter for power, i'd like to hardwire
it so that the thing has switched power with the ignition...

what's the best way to do this? just cut the power cable that comes
with the car kit and splice into the switched power wire in the wiring
harness?
