LOL! I was seriously thinking about doing that but had visions of
shrapnel flying when/if the socket blew up.
I took it to my new favorite garage with a free CAA tow and he charged
me $60.00 to install it and to inspect my steering for a loose part.
Turns out one spring needs some grease in it's holder cup and I have a
little play in the steering rack (not enough to fix). Cool, a cheap fix.
