Seriously, I lost a lot of skin to the radiator the first time I tried to
change one of those things. After seeing how much room there was when I
changed the radiator, I decided it was actually quicker and easier to pull
the radiator and grill anytime I have to work on that part of the engine.
Heck, even the alternator is easy to reach that way. Sounds like a lot of
work, but on mine the radiator comes out really quick and the a/c
condenser
swings far enough to be out of the way so I let the old impact wrench do
the hard part for me. It also forces me to change the antifreeze every now
and then <g>.
