The fast blink means a bulb has a bad connection (not enough power) or 
one is out.

The oil sender connection sounds loose.

If they are both connected, then I would look to the body ground strap. 
  There should be a mesh cable running from the engine head to the 
firewall.  These rot out causing lots of strange things to happen.
