Re: Larsen 5/8 wave mobile antenna ??

I just dusted off my old Larsen 5/8 antenna  and set it on the car for 
another trip.  I have been using the same antenna and coil for over 30
years 
now and it works fine.  I am on my second mag mount, but still have the 
original.
I bought this from Jim Larsen's old operation in Vancouver, Wa****ngton 
before he went cor****ate.
It works as good as the day I got it, which is more than I can say about
the 
dozen or more cars I have used it on during that time.
