replaced the fuse, checked to make sure nothing was shorting - now,
the cigarette lighter works perfectly and doesn't blow the fuse
anymore.  BUT, still NO DAMN POWER to my xm when i plug that into the
lighter...

this is so unbelievably frustrating...i just can't understand why the
lighter works but nothing else will receive power.
