alright, i got sick of dealing with this and bought the hardwired
power adapter so i don't need to deal with it...just going to get the
add-a-circuit and run a power wire to the fuse box and be done.  i
also picked up an rca line driver, because the signal coming from the
xm and my ipod is pretty weak...to the point where i have to turn my
stereo up to 40 (out of 50) to get even a reasonable volume.

my question is this...

can i power both the line driver and xm from the same add-a-circuit
wire, and can i ground them both to the same wire as well?  my plan is
to splice into the ground wire behind the cigarette lighter and use
the add-a-circuit on that same fuse that the lighter and radio use...

hell, for that matter, can i install the 12v outlet i plan on getting
eventually to the same power and ground point?
