I had a 4cyl 5-spd wrangler, 12 years ago. I was not disappointed in the
performance or mileage. No A/C, though. I recall getting 18-20 mpg
around town and around 24 highway (55-60)
I now have a 6cyl AT Rubicon. Performance is great, mileage sucks.
Am wanting to get a second Jeep, going back to a Wrangler 4cyl. I
wonder
just how much the performance and mileage will suffer if I get an AT?
I can get 20 mpg on the Rubicon on the freeway if I set the cruise control
at 55 but it does 14-16 around town.
