Re: Front Trailing Arm Bracket

I had all new hardware in my front end and still had to 'corral' it in
the lane or 'tack into the wind' idea.

In my case both U-joints on my steering column were worn bad. I would
check those for slop on yours first. A new column is amazing, trans****t
trucks don't even make it wobble now.

You need two to check it really, one to move the steering wheel side to
side and one to watch the linkage pieces. Start up by the brake master
and follow it down until you find no movement.

The box is adjustable for slop usually too. The Saginaw ones can be for
sure, not sure what your 75 has.
