I used a crank winch off a boat trailer, mounted on wall, up to a small
pulley, then over to another small pulley in center of ceiling, clip on
end
of rope. For attatching it to top, I went and got some 1/2"chain that has
a
plastic sleeve over it, ( think it's for kids swings ) cut one about 8'
long, another about 4', attatched the smaller peice about center of long
one, then welded on a 2" peice of angle iron to each end, I bent angle
iron
peices in vice so they are less then 90 degrees, maybe 70. So you end up
with a T shaped chain, with angle hook on each end, clip center to where
they join on hook of winch rope, slip an angle iron peice on each side of
top, and one on front, and crank away, used it about 5 times on my jeep
and
same on daughters, no problems. Don't know what a boat winch cost, I had
one, but can't imagine too much, bet you could buy all to make for under
$50.00.
