I went to a car show (http://showandrally.com.au/)
at Bacchus Marsh this
morning, lots of nice cars including 3 GT40's, I recognized one of the
GT40 owners as a Clubman owner so I asked if I could sit in his car and
he said yes:-)
He also offered me a drive which wasn't possible in the middle of a car
show so he said next time I see him he will let me drive it:-)
Bastard of a thing to get into but comfortable when you do, don't know
how a tall person could get in it though, I'm 5'6" and my head was
touching the roof.
Apparently its getting a major brake upgrade soon as he has trouble
stopping quickly from 250kph on the race track.
On the track he doesn't use 6th (Audi box) because he can do over 250kph
in 5th:-)
