The meter in VW sedans/vans tops out at 99.9
Pushed a T4 Caravelle up a long hill and pegged it at that for about
2 minutes. It was a petrol one... fortunately the gradient levelled
out a bit later.

I've not managed to sustain more than 50 l/100km in the Golf TDI
2.0. Seem to run out of gear/road.
