I'm going more nuts than I'm usually am,..trying to locate the speedo
sensor
unit on a F4A33 Mitsy auto-transmission in a Sonata. The free on line
manual, gives an
exploded picture of the actual speedo-drive on the F4A3 which retains the
speedo
drive cable, but not the F4A33 which I think is the later trans used in
cars
(Magna,Sonata) and is an electronic pulse generator.
I think the early and late trans would have their respective speedo units
in
the same place,..but I cant see where it is. There are what appears to be
solenoids with wiring attached all over the darn thing. The cutaway view
in
the PDF doesnt list the speedo, just the usual mechanical things inside.
Is it correct to asume it would be located in the diff housing, or the
transfer drive between the auto output and the diff?
TIA, Jason
