You don't know your history well if you believe all sickness was
mostly fatal and had absolutely no home-spun yet often very effective
remedies.

Right. Note to everyone here that only the latest whiz-bang flash
space-age answers are acceptable.

Not all abuse children/act like criminals/drain the system etc
etc......

Probably still living off the land and generally minding their own
business. This may be a cliche and difficult for you to believe/
understand, but they had a vibrant, relatively cohesive, and proud
culture before we arrived.

The other side. Right. You are as guilty as anyone in refusing to
accept opposing views.

Thing is, ALL the issues we're currently trying to deal with here are
to do with "their" integration into "our" society. Whether or not
early intervention was meant with good intentions or not doesn't
change the fact it *didn't ****ing work* and made things a whole lot
worse. Indigenous people are so primative by our standards, yet we
throw money at them (which they don't really understand) and build
unsuitable "houses" for them to our own liking, and basically dictate
to them how we are going to solve "their" issues?
Our efforts so far are akin to appraising a patient's malady as being
a broken neck by using only their postcode, administering
chemotherapy.......and wondering why it doesn't fix the problem!!!
