well lets see, I was even bashed for being too wimpy to smoke
cigarettes, I was abused for crying out in pain when my knee was
dislocated, I was beaten for pleading with a relative to call the
police, I have a jaw which dislocates every time I eat as a result of
the damage, I had my bedroom window frames drilled and bolted shut so I
couldn't even open the window to let some fresh air in (coming home from
school, you couldn't see from one side of the lounge to the other for
smoke). I had ****s pick up the phone when I was ringing trying to get
job interviews and badmouthing me for amusement. I was deliberately
exposed to extreme amounts of asbestos 'for a laugh' - so YES. and not
ONE sympathetic ear in the lot. Understand this, I'm not a success
story, and never likely will be, but I'll at least go out with some
pride intact, knowing they couldn't make me give in to it all. I still
have major nightmares, and I've punched and kicked an airconditioner out
of the wall in my sleep (damage to extremities included). I sometimes
wake up in a cold sweat. It's not fun, but I don't take it out on anyone
else (well except the perpetrators, I waged my own little war there - I
also intervened with a cousins kids, threatening them big time - the
basic spiel being 'you keep treating your kids like I was, they'll turn
out like me' and then when that didn't work 'keep it up and I'll drive
your ****en head through a brick wall. If they had have stood their
ground and been aggressive toward me, then I would have thought
differently - after all they believed in it, to their own peril, but
they immediately stopped after the threats (and risk of them being
carried out) was imminent. Meaning they didn't think what they were
doing was right, they were just cowardly bullies picking on the ones who
they should be protecting.
At a certain point we have to stop thinking that bad people are just
good people who have lost their way. Sure some are, but let's not be too
bloody quick to forgive.

I mean seriously - it's so harsh the 'meaty' details are just hard to
even begin to discuss. When someone says happy birthday to me, I can
usually put a brave face on it, but if only I could tell people some of
the things that were done to me on my birthday, and specifically the
methodical abuse that was done intentionally (and brutally and
relentlessly) to ensure I'd never enjoy a birthday ever after. You just
can't explain that to someone else for whom there's at least some
modi*** of a good experience on one or two of their own. Sure I could
'reclaim' the day as my own, and I've tried to with varying success.
But again, through it all, I've not taken it out on anyone else. Having
said all that, if I see _anyone_ doing their best to stand tall
(successfully or something short of it) they'll get my sup****t, pretty
much unconditionally. But who is kidding who - 'sorry' isn't helping
anyone but a bunch of whiter than casper the ghost wankers who have long
learnt that an elaborate whinge gets them access to the govco/taxpayers
teat. A prime example is a local (more to me than to you) aboriginal
activist who is clearly a bloody gang rapist, and deserves to die. He's
whiter than 10 blokes named sven, an all round ****, but he's gotten the
loot more than once.
