Re: Mad Max Scenario - 2008.

by "Casey Simmons" <cmsimmons@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Feb 17, 2008 at 09:14 PM

Back in my day behind the 'console' (approx 4 years ago) cameras weren't
worth a crock of ****. EVERY drive off was deliberate and EVERY number
plate
was phoned in to the cops instantly to find it was from ADTRANS car yard
down the road, or the number plate was off white honda but the vehicle
was
a gold HQ kinggy. The cops were never then interested. What could they do?

They'll never get caught. A co-worker and i used to love tossing **** at
their cars as they were attempting to get back into traffic. It was quite
a
distance from the door but its amazing how far you can turf a full 2L
bottle
of coke when you're angry! My mate smashed a back window once with a
fly-spray can.... he just kept driving !! Hahaha, wanker! What was he
gonna
do!!

I really don't know the answer to the problem. Pre-pay seems the easiest
way
out but i know it ****s people off. We ended up going prepay at certain
times of the day. It actually bought about lots of regular customers as
you
get to know people and you'd just auth the pump after giving/receiving a
wave... i think it makes people feel special and they keep coming back. We

actually had an ENORMOUS regular clientele now that i think of it. Was
good
money for doing **** all in the servo, we had so much fun. We had a hidden

camera on the mags, and every night catch someone putting stick books down

their pants. Its funny, they ALWAYS come to the counter and act like your
best mate as they buy a packet of extra..... until you start asking whats
in
their pants and make 'em pull it out in front of 10 people in the line up
waiting to be served!!!.Then tell 'em to step aside, the cops were on
their
way (they never actually were)and make 'em wait for god knows how long....

happy days
