Most of the flats around where I grew up stunk because of the type of
people living in them
even people living in the caravan park were higher up the social ladder
at $10/week
two bedroom flat, right on the waterfront was something like $15/week
but only the s***iest of the s*** lived in a flat, the better people
rented a house, right on the waterfront for $30/week
of course that same set of flats is now a block of Units(same building
just new paint and some fancy fixtures)and you'll be paying $300/week
for the privilege of living in a one bedroom unit on the waterfront
a house on the waterfront your looking at $600/week and only the
s***iest of the s*** live in the caravan park for $100/week
