A very common tactic unfortunately. Most save little or no money for the
manufacturer, but are not as easily rectified though.
Worse still is the extra cost charged when these items are listed as
options!

And don't get me started on outrageous dealer delivery charges. $400-$500
per hour for the apprentice to stuff up the paint work and check the oil,
is
not uncommon.
