I've got a 1990 December 'lux without a spot of rust, and I've driven
it on the beach - no rust.
However if you want something totally appaling,
1984 Ford Meteor.
That is extra special - the door panels part
company with the bottom of the door sills, even if you
decide to rust proof them. However the rust proff compound
back then was designed to cause rust...
I'd like to be called "Rusty", no where near it yet :-)
I did have to clean the honey coloured goop off the paint carefully,
it weakens it, and that is two pak paint, which is a fairly
strong paint. The galvanealling is still all good.
No rust for me :-)
Actually not quite true, the bull bar with acrillic has
a spot I need to deal with.
