No, they had a problem with a machanical component that crapped itself and

took a lot of other **** out when it did.

They do take their own special trans fluid, and will **** up quite quickly

if you use regular fluid, and that's still the case to this day as far as 
I'm aware. However, that's not something that's unique to MMAL. Ford does 
the same thing with their late model auto's.

Running the wrong fluid will generally have them flare on ****fts almost 
immediately.
