Well yeah! the place I go to has several. Actually the old cars dumped
there seem to be taking a while to rust. Athol has posted pix of the
Blitz he saw there, one  featuring me :-) . Move all that back near
the ocean
and it would rust itself to death in no time at all.

The question is how long they have been out there? I'll bet a *long*
time more than stuff dumped in/near the ocean.

Out in the country, park your spare car parts under the nearest tree -
they will be fine. Don't do that anywhere near the ocean... nope.
