Been on the market a matter of weeks.
Haven't driven one, and probably won't for a while.
Looked at them and the specs in detail, though.
Fit and finish are 'supberb' for a Van.
Really. If that's any guide they're extremely well built.
Choice of power plants is fair - you get a L4 cylinder thingee no matter
what:-) Did I mention I Hate L4 Cyl Engines with a passion?
The fuel is the only choice - so far petrol or diesel.
I need a longer wheel-base model there before I'd change over because
I'd be running LPG and I still want to carry two pallets.
Reason is that despite the 5 year unlimited K warranty, I'd
probably keep the thing longer and I don't want to be stung massive $$
for diesel engine bits.
As for the spec - It's basically a MB clone in terms of features and
even shape to an extent, but with the same drive-train set-up as the
Hi-Ace - read agricultural. AND that ****en MacPherson Strut Front end
- which is the pits in a commercial vehicle. I firmly believe that
despite current VW, Fiat, Toyota using the ****e. Time will tell, I
guess. i't gets a 'first' for an asian machine - optional lock - NOT
Ls, Diff. Noice.
Once a few high-milers get them and start to re****t they're Ok to
other drivers, I reckon it'll be a top seller.
Simply has to be at the price - shame about the
suspension spec, though.
There's a lot of potential there for Hyundai to plonk a few different
shapes and sizes on the market here - tough they're not know for that
sort of marketing - so far.
