Hi there, I have a VZ Calais and the Rear Park Assist (RPA) has stopped
working. Looking through the handbook, it mentions that it has an
"Auto-Off"
feature whenever a trailer or caravan is fitted. Fair-enough, but no
mention
of an Auto-back ON!!! Ever since I've disconnected my trailer and removed
the draw-bar tongue, she no-worky anymore.
I have checked the "Black Harness connector" inside the rhs boot lining
(also mentioned in the book for disabling RPA) and the connection is fine.
This is the first time I have had a trailer connected to this car. Am I
missing anything here or is it a malfunction and needs warranty repair?
