Commodore info needed - Need leads

I accidently cut through one of the leads and need to replace it, The 
service guy asked me the serial number of the lead but I don't have that 
info.
All I know it is a grey lead the thinkness of a pencil.

Could anyone help me with a serial number.

Information that may help
Build date - April 1986
Model - Commodore 64
The low back model.
