The give way problem, which isn't confined to Q, is when the peanut in
front won't enter the roundabout because there's a another vehicle
approaching the roundabout on the right... ie the peanut gives way to
the right instead of entering the roundabout.

It's really got nothing to do with indicating as it's simply a matter
of who's there first.

In the example you quoted the exit for the car that's already on the
roundabout, approaching you from the right, will always be past your
entry point....  And yes, I've certainly had cars enter a roundabout
directly in front of me because I was indicating my exit at the next
exit point.

There's nothing whatsoever wrong with the roundabout laws, apart from
the fact they're _never_ policed... or even obeyed by the police.  :)
