That's been the situation for the last quarter of a century or more and
there haven't been any issues as yet that I'm aware of.
Ford won't cover *any* after-market accessories fitted to their vehicles
as
part of their new car warranty, and that includes lpg systems, mag wheels
and just about anything else you can think of. If you buy a new ute and
have
it converted you'd be *extremely* unlucky for it to cause any problem with
the vehicle, and at worst you may have to make a few trips to the
installer
to have it tuned correctly.
Alternately, you can get a "dealer fit" dual fuel system that *will* be
covered by the warranty to a degree.
If you walk into any dealer and tell them you want a dual fuel Falcon ute,
they'll happily quote you a price to have it converted and organise it for
you before you take delivery of the car. The price will be totally ****ing
ridiculous as they'll want to be getting a 30% mark-up just for delivering
the car to the gas fitter, but they'll be selling you a brand new car with
a
dealer fit option that effectively becomes *their* problem if it ****s
itself and causes damage.
All you have to do as the customer if that happens is take it back to the
dealer and let them sort it out, as that's how they supplied the car to
you.
