ahh .. the double tap works a treat !
I was sure i tryed the mode asnd reset together but i think it must 
canclelif you hold it in too long.

10.0 l/100km (on premium) to get to work is pretty good. its a lot 
better than the EA wagon it replaces. that used to claim an average of 
13.6 l/100km, i reckon it was closer to 18 though.

just dropped my fuel bill by about $8 a day by going to a V8 .. stoked.

thanks anyway. I pulled the mirror switch out last night and had a look 
and i reckon I can suss it out from its bits. looks like the internal 
blade for the 12v and the internal one for the ground have managed to 
short themselves together until the wires fused open.

maybe i should take osme pictures on how to fix em, it looks like 
something that could be common and a fire hazard.

any forums around that cover this sort of repairs ? .. not found any 
yet. Holden club is gone so you can't get the manuals there anymore.
