Used to write in Squeals - sorry Wheels - a lot back in the 70's.
Maybe into the 80's. Famous for his love of "pukka" (look it up)
s****ts cars - pref nothing later than an MGTD. Was also tasked by the
mag in testing "interesting" vehicles - street sweepers, aircraft
tugs, etc. Also - IIRC - referred to his billy lids as Fred Markone
and Fred Marktwo, unless I have him confused with someone else.
Oh yes - a nom de plume - but I figure you know that one already. :)
