Especially if you have a nice car. If I had to drive in that crap daily 
I'd buy a ****box or hail damaged car for daily use.

I'm in the same boat, and can relate.

I don't know most parts of Sydney very well at all, and a couple of 
months ago I finally bought a navman - I wish to christ I bought one 
years ago - they are absolutely invaluable in a rats maze like Sydney.

The only drawback to a navman is that it might very occasionally take 
you the most direct way - but on a very heavily congested route during 
say, peak hour. It did that to me once, but even so I wouldn't be 
without one ever again.

Buy one asap.
