Some of you may remember a little while ago I posted about my indecision
around which engine I would put in my old XB ute. Well, I've been offered
a
400 cleveland at a very good price (free), so it looks like I'll be going
with that. I pick it up in a couple of weeks and will start the rebuilding
process then. Not sure if I'll turbo the thing (I'll have to see how much
room I've got in the engine bay), but it will undergo a bit of a makeover
to
ensure I get some decent horsepower out of it, and will be running
straight
LPG. Hoping to get somewhere around 380-390 HP and a redline of 5500 RPM.
The only downside that I can see is the big-block bellhousing bolt
pattern.
I'd prefer to run my C10 than a C6 behind it. Does anyone know if a
bellhousing (or adapter) is available to run a C10 on a big block?
