Different cars driven last 78 hours

by Pit <spamlister@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Apr 5, 2008 at 04:39 PM

While the "Sinatra" was in for its service new rubber and new
leather.
The Dealer loaned us a demo New Lancer Manual not a bad little car
but felt squeezed and those mirrors that make every thing appear
closer just hate em ( I like Normal mirrors) Even with these things
blind spots every where no matter how you adjusted them (Maybe need
a few days to get dialled in to them ?)

They needed the demo back as it got sold so They put me in an I30
Diesel -------------
what a nice bloody car and ROOMY Not bad bang for buck finish much
better the mitsie

As it was Pouring cats and dogs In Perth got a chance to see how it
handled in the wet pretty sure footed
but would never go 10/10ths in one in the wet
Music system just great ( Music is im****tant on long drives )

Bugger me they wanted that back as well ----------- for a fleet
customer demo

So ended up in a used 2 year old BMW 3 series --------- I cant see why
every one raves over them ? Would not pull a greasy Thermometer out
of a dogs bum . Seats lousy Road and wind noise horrible and Handled
like a 9 week old stick of celery ( Might have been because have got
used to FWD) But no way would I have one

Then Back to the hack ---just so nice to settle back and do 840KM I
am Biased I know but all things being equal can't fault the Sonata
Because they dicked about with the computer during the service lost
all ac***ulated Data But on 840ks averaged 105 Kmph and fuel burn
7.86L/100 And the new Hankooks better than the Dunlop SP 270 in the
wet but on Mud & then dust VERY different tyres ------
