My Sinatra is due for new rubber soon. Mine is the V6 GL with optional
16 x 6.5 alloys. It came pre-shod with Kumhos. When I saw them I
thought - "Oh no not more Korean crap tyres" - I had very bad
experiences with Hankooks on a s/c V6 VT2 I had. So bad I got rid of
them after about 3000k, they were just plain dangerous. Even with LSD
they would sit and spin in the slightest damp and weren't much better
in the dry.
But I was agreeably suprised, the Kumhos were nowhere near as bad and
provided a nice balance of grip, noise and handling. I will try my
first preference on it this time (Yokohama C-drives, replacements for
my much-loved A539's), but know the Kumhos are a good fall back
option.
Regards
Steve
