Agreed, I forgot about rotaries, they are the worst by far.

Those things sound insane, I've got a sound clip of one of those
somewhere.
When I was at Philip Island a couple of weeks ago I was standing in the 
pits when they fired up 25 F5000's, it was so loud it was almost painful 
but awesome at the same time.
