Agreed 100%. Even though I'm not driving a truck, part of the reason I
leave a decent gap is so I can absorb all the slow-down-speed-up
capers of those ahead who only look as far as the tail lights in front
and therefore over-react to everything.
In places like the Blue Mountains NSW, this can help a great deal.
