My boss is an ex-Mitsubi**** man, and his rule of thumb for failed
timing belts on Magnas was to convert the revs you were doing at the
time to dollars. :-p

It's a bad position to be in - at the very least you could get them to
physically *show* you what they mean. Even a non-mechanic should be
able to see the logic of what they're trying on - if there is any.
