Discussion proton Jumbuck

There are a few of these things about the area . Had the chance to
drive one and not as bad as I expected ( I hate proton products)

A Wholesaler mate has offered me a dented roughy late 2006 plated
model for Under 6 grand ( about 2 panel & paint )
so all schmicked up would owe less than 7700

But would be ok as a bush runabout as is ( been rear ended slightly
driven between posts and a tree branch fell across bonnet - looks sad
but chassis
Years ago I had a Brumby  drove it into the ground and when sold it
got more than I paid for it and loved the thing
I hear via xmas & Birthday cards that it is still going strong -
amazing!!

In a what if moment  thought hang on ------ it is a sort of brumby
like thing but no 4wd . :(

Thus any clues as to what gear could turn it into a 4wd ( dont want
one of those high off the ground  hi lux looking abortion
conversions)  Just a son of brumby type concept .
any advice or clues  as the thing has arrived tonight on a carrier
from Perth  for me to have for a week and if like it it can stay :)
Or I can get rid of it up here for my mate . Gave it a work out
tonight and it drives mint !!  A Proton  (cant believe I said
something nice about a proton) YIKES

I reckon proton would be on a winner if they did a brumby type 4wd on
these things . Every place I rang siad never done one or knew what
bits  - all wanted to make the thing look like honey I shrunk the
monster truck type conversion -------- 'orrible

any clues appreciated
