No, I'm saying is what you'll get is a *better* vehicle for the same

regardless of it's age.

If having a newer vehicle is more im****tant to you than having a better 
vehicle, then buy all means buy the Proton. However, if you're after 
something with a modi*** of quality attached to it, then buy anything
else.

I couldn't imagine a situation where a Proton ute would fit under

that a tray backed Hi-lux/Rodeo/Triton/Navara et al wouldn't.

Hey, if it blows your skirt up, then knock yourself out. I wouldn't be 
interested in one if they were giving them away for free, but that's just 
me.

However, if you're looking for a decent vehicle for the almost 8 grand 
you're contemplating on spending, then I could think of *plenty* that
would 
make the short list well ahead of anything made by Proton.

The Lancer was a *****house* car. The Lancer as a work vehicle made by a 
manufacturer who is a hell of a lot cheaper & nastier than Mitsubi**** is a

frightening prospect indeed :)
