Finally got the Magna back after all valves were replaced and the timing
belt etc.
Labour was $1,400 (they said they'd reduced it by a third)
Parts $1,350
Sub let $280 (whatever that is?)
All up $3,333 - I was expecting about $3,000.
But, just went for a tread, when automatically going to top gear, the
changeover seems to rev higher for a sec, then it slips down a cog.
Strange, never was like that before. All other changovers are smooth.
They took photos also that clearly show bits of a drive belt under the
timing belt.
Now I'd like to trade this in and get something that uses less fuel :)
