I can get 4 litres of "canola" oil from Coles for $7.50. That's $1.875
per litre.

I know a guy whose parents run a take away and he reckons they get a
20L drum of "the good stuff" for $30. That's $1.50/L. I'm going to ask
around some more and see if I can find it cheaper than $30 per drum,
but even at $30 it's already cheaper than diesel which is $1.659/L
around here.

Having said that, I understand it's not as powerful as petro-diesel so
that has to be factored in aswell.
