I've run just about anything and everything. Lubrication for pump and
injectors is im****tant, the shellite trick is im****tant if using oil
alone,
otherwise around 20+% power loss. Properly processed biodiesel is
the best and most powerfull fuel you can use in a diesel engine.
If you want to use new oil from the supermarket, yeah just pour
it in, with some shellite as Atec says.
WVO needs a little more work as it contains particles and water.
I've got a new centrifuge gizmo I've not yet tried, and have all
the kit for the more conventional boil off the water, peristaltic pump
with filters. That is the minimum to use WVO with shellite - another
problem though, it's pH level is going to be acidic and that's bad.
Sure though, if the price of diesel goes above what you can buy
in the supermarket, yeah that is OK to use without processing,
just add some shellite.
