Oh, there is. I designed up some strange stuff, and wrote
some strange code. The manuel had the entire circuit
diagram and even ROM listings. Could buy chips for it,
fix it if it shat itself. These days no one will get near a
modern PC tech wise. The do***entation is not there,
and in some cases LINUX device driver writers have to
make guesses as sure as ****e the manufactures are
not going to give out tech info.

That sort of stuff has left me without interest in the
computer<DEL><DEL><DEL><DEL><DEL><DEL>
<DEL><DEL> IT industry.

Nup, they were the good days.
