Hard disk? You lucky, lucky bastard! :)

My first "real" PC was a genuine IBM XT that had a green screen, a floppy 
drive and nothing else and it cost almost double the price of a then new 
Holden sedan. It did virtually nothing, and I kept it for *ages* after it 
was made obsolete simply because it cost so much to buy and I couldn't
bear 
to throw it out.

It spent the last few years of my owner****p as a garage door stop before I

finally turfed it into my rubbish trailer and sent it to the tip.
