Any aus.cars 20/20 summit reps?

I mean did anyone propose how **CAR PRICE GOUGING** can be fixed in this 
country? A Pontiac G8 costs under $30 grand in the US (under Au$32k in 
kangaroo money) while a similar Holden VE Commodore costs over $40 grand 
here. The car is manufactured here but its costs more here ... something
is 
very wrong!!!

And then petrol prices ....
