A less than 10 truck company probably wont do any sort of driving history
check, just send you out with another driver to see how you go.
Over 10 trucks and they will probably have some insurance company enforced
checking in place and your record will come up as an issue for the
insurer.
Drink driving, dangerous driving, persistant speeding offence and licence
suspensions will probably exclude you from the better trucking companies
(newer trucks, regulated hours, etc).
Some criminal offences also exclude you from obtaining access to wharves,
customs bond areas, air****ts and the like.
