Had it been an original IBM 5150 PC they may have done  if it was in 
excellent condition, but XT's were common and probably still are
relatively 
speaking.

I collected a few of both (PC/XT's) when I was doing  PC repairs and 
upgrades years ago, and they all went to the tip.
