I'd agree 100% with that.

My Dec 1990 'lux is likely the best anything I've ever
bought in my life. My friend's 1988 (first in 5000 built)
Smurf of that model, is the best vehicle he thinks has ever
bought in his life (then again he has bought a lot of vehicles
and likes Landies and other Euro stuff) - think he got sick of
fixing the Euro stuff. Did recently buy another L/R pickup,
however it's getting some mods and being used for building
mods and he got it cheap. His ride of choice is his smurf,
he likes it.

Smurfs are cheap as, reliable, and parts are available.

The one my friend has is dent free for $7K a few years back
now. No rust. Put a tiny dent in the tailgate which I kicked
him in the arse for.
