I bought a Mio (I think tha's what it's called as I have given it to my 
daughter-in-law down south) some 4 years ago for around the $800 mark, now

they are also around the $300 mark.

I now use the Uniden and I find it very helpful yet sometimes confusing
with 
exit directions as sometimes it seems to be a few seconds too slow at 
keeping up. Overal though, I do recommend them.
